The Focus Program is having a talent search. We are in need of a theme song. The contest is open to any Alabama High School Student.

 

The Dead line to submit your entry is December 5, 2009. The winner will be announced January 30, 2010. The winner will receive $200 cash prize and have the opportunity to perform the song during the 2010 Focus Rally at Shocco Springs, Alabama.

 

The Challenge: To compose a song that will reflect the mission and theme of the Focus Program.

All songs submitted, including both music and lyrics, must be original or none copyrighted.

The song must be under 5 minutes.

 

                A sound recording on CD of the song entry

                A printed or typed transcript of the lyrics (include the name of the song and music composer).

                A signed and completed submission form for the song entry, inclusive of your name,

                 school’s name ,telephone number , address and your email address.

 

                All entries must be post marked by December 5, 2008, and mailed to:

The music will be judge based on:

                The content of the song

                Originality

                How well the song catches and keeps your attention

                The level of emotion evoked
